Volunteer Opportunities

We love partnering with our families for their child’s education and encourage our parents to be actively engaged through school meetings, parent/teacher conferences, field trips, and supporting the groups below. Volunteering is an important aspect of school life as it creates a sense of community among parents, teachers, and students. Below are the different volunteer opportunities that are headed up by our event coordinator.

Room Mom (K-5 grade)

A room mom is a volunteer who helps in their child’s class to support the teacher by helping with classroom events/parties, coordinating classroom volunteers, facilitating communication between the teacher and other parents in the class, and also acting as a liaison between teachers and parents. Some of the class activities/parties that need supported are Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, testing week, and activities during the last week of school. A room mom is assigned per year for each grade level K-5th grade.

Classroom help

If the teacher has a need in their classroom, they will send an email to their specific grade families and let you know of this volunteer opportunity.

Mom Fellowship/Staff Support

The ladies meet once a month at the school for prayer, devotion, and fellowship. This group also supports the staff by doing one special thing for them every month. This is a great way to connect with other moms!

Events & Programs

Any parent is welcome to support the events and programs that are put on throughout the school year. Some of the duties would include helping with food prep, decorating, transportation of items, assisting during the event, shopping, and clean-up. Events and programs include Fall S’mores, Christmas program, Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, sporting events, graduations, and special chapel services.
