Application Process
Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Answers Academy! We understand how important schooling decisions are and we are here to assist you in any way we can. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to working with you as you complete the below steps.
We accept applications for Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our application process is open at any time, but applications will not begin to process until March 1st for the upcoming school year.
Step One: Come and visit!
(Optional): We would very much like to meet you and encourage you to attend one of our open house dates. If you are unable to attend, please contact the school to schedule a private tour.
Step Two: Application
Our application process is online through FACTS. Click HERE to get started! A list of items we will be asking for are as follows:
Application for Admission
Application Fee
Recent and Previous Report Cards
Standardized Test Scores from the last 12 months
Birth Certificate
Signed Statement of Faith
Signed Statement of Support
After we receive the application, each family will be a sent a Pastor Reference Form to be filled out by a pastoral staff member.
Step three: Testing
After we have received your application paperwork, we will set up a time for you to bring your child in for academic testing.
All kindergarten students will be given a kindergarten readiness test.
Students (1st grade and above) will need to be tested primarily in the areas of math, handwriting, writing and grammar, reading, and Bible.
Potential students coming from a variety of other schools (private, Christian, public, or home school) can be at very different academic levels. Because of our academic rigor, we want to make sure that each student is a good fit for their grade level so that they will be successful.
Step four: Parent and student interview
Part of the application process includes a sit-down interview with each family. Both parents and prospective student(s) will meet with the admissions committee and Administrator. This allows us to get to know you (and vice-versa) as we consider each student for enrollment.
Step Five: Enrollment
After evaluation of forms submitted, testing results, and the interview, a decision will be made by the admissions committee regarding status for entry into the school. Each family will receive an email with the decision and next steps, if applicable.
*If your student has an IEP, please send the school a copy so we can determine if we can meet their needs.
*In order for a student to be eligible to enroll in kindergarten, the child must be turning 5 years old on or before August 1st of the school year.
