Looking for a good Christmas program?
Are you frustrated every year in looking for a fun, solid, biblical Christmas program for your church or school program (for either children or adults)? Look no further, your search is over!
As a biblical worldview school, we have found it difficult to find a Christmas program that meets our needs. Most Christmas programs out there are what we consider “fluff ‘n stuff”—they have very little biblical teaching. Instead, their focus is on entertainment and cuteness instead of content. Of course, we want our programs to be enjoyable and fun, but you can do this without compromising the content!
Because of the lack of good meaty biblical Christmas dramas, we decided to write our own Christmas programs every year.
What was the outcome?
A fun, entertaining Christmas drama that has a different focus each year. These dramas are built on biblical teaching that dives you into many historical aspects that answer questions that plague today’s society. It is a great learning experience for both the students and audience as these program take them to a deeper biblical look at the different aspects of the Christmas account with the gospel message coming across loud and clear.
We don’t want to keep our Christmas programs to ourselves, but we want to share this information with other Christians to be utilized in their local programs at church or school.
With generous performance rights and free reproducible actor’s script, you’ll find everything you need to impact audiences with the true meaning of Jesus’ birth. We’ve done the hard work in creating it, now we want to see many Christian programs utilize it for the spread of the gospel message to create a global impact for Christ!
Coming in spring of 2025…Bethlehem’s Cry
Bethlehem’s Cry follows the life of Bea, a young girl who is excited when some of her relatives stay with them during the census. One of her cousins, Mary, is pregnant with a baby just like her mom was a few months ago with her baby brother! But Bea is filled with questions as shepherds claiming to see angels visit when her newborn baby cousin Jesus is born. And a couple years later, wisemen show up at the door! How come her baby brother didn’t get entertaining visitors and lavish gifts like gold? What was so special about Jesus?
When everything in Bea’s life seemed to be going well, tragedy strikes her little town, and Bea is left with grief, fear, and doubt in God. Why would a loving God allow such awful events to happen? Was He not powerful enough to stop bad things from happening? As Bea grows up and watches Jesus’ life, from his birth in a lowly manger to his death on the cross, she begins to find the answer she had been longing for all these years. This heart wrenching drama explores the depth of human grief and suffering in a sinful world, where the babe in the manger is the only hope.
This drama will be performed live at the Ark Encounter Answers Center on December 6, 2024 at 6:30pm.
A Christmas play about King Herod? Yes, you read that right! This is certainly an unusual take on the Christmas account by looking at the life of King Herod and his connection to God’s greatest gift, Jesus. Through drama and song, Behold the King is told through the eyes of a lost, misguided servant of Herod’s court, Jorim. Throughout Jorim’s journey, he will meet various people that connect who the true King of Kings and Lord of Lords is who takes away the sins of the world! Kingdoms and rulers will come and go but the Kingdom of God will last forever.
For 400 years, prophets were silent. Can you imagine the surprise the shepherds received one evening when an angel announced to them the birth of a very special baby! Keeping Watch will unfold the true meaning of Christmas through the eyes of an ordinary shepherd who struggled to find his purpose in life. Through song and drama, this program connects the babe in a manager to the reason why Jesus was the spotless Lamb of God that was sent to be the final sacrifice to make salvation possible.
A Pondering Heart shares the true meaning of Christmas through the eyes of Mary. This Christmas program will capture the attention of all age levels as you journey with Mary through her life as she discovers the true meaning of her special baby and the connection to the passover lamb. Long Foretold is written from the perspective of the wise men. The journey of the wise men goes back to the time of Daniel and projects forward to the birth of our Lord and Savior. In this fun and enjoyable adventure, many questions are answered and misconceptions are cleared up. How would the wise men have known the significance of the star? Were they kings? How many wise men were there? Were the wise men at the nativity? The Journey of the Magi will keep your audience engaged while hearing a powerful Gospel message of the significance of baby Jesus.
